             Job Title: Chemical Production Machine Operator Job Description The position involves setting up and operating equipment to blend, mix, package, and transport liquid or dry chemicals that make up customer products. The role ensures the production of the highest quality products at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements. Responsibilities + Set up, start, and operate all machinery, ensuring adherence to operating, safety procedures, and ISO standards. + Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and insert them into machinery, or ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and insert pre-blended materials. + Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation and troubleshoot equipment and processing issues. + Operate machinery to mix, extrude/discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures. + Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards. + Take samples of materials to the lab for evaluation and instructions on any batch adjustments if needed. + Refer issues/problems to Production Lead or Production/Shift Supervisor for disposition. + Perform all required machine cleaning. + Complete and maintain all required system inputs/transactions, ensuring data integrity. + Document work completed, including logs, data reports, and procedures. + Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods. + Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations and maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Essential Skills + 1+ year of experience as a machine operator + Experience in production, mixing, compounding, and general production Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly + Proficiency in using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls + Capability to talk and/or hear + Ability to occasionally sit + Capacity to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally handle up to 250 pounds Why Work Here?
