    Join a fast-paced, hands-on production team in a facility that manufactures tortillas for some of the most recognized brands in the U.S. As a Utility Operator, you'll play a key role in packaging operations, machine setup, and quality control.     **Note:** The production area can reach temperatures up to 100°F. Candidates must be comfortable working in warm conditions and wearing protective gear to maintain food safety standards.

    •️ Key Responsibilities

    + Operate in the packaging area: palletizing, packing, and performing machine changeovers

    + Edit machine controller settings for job specs (size, weight, bag type, speed)

    + Document production data including waste, serial numbers, and quantities (written and digital)

    + Coordinate with team members to maintain workflow during unscheduled breaks

    + Monitor product quality and packaging materials throughout the shift

    + Accurately report production metrics in the ERP system (PLEX)

    + Set code dates, verify serial numbers, and record finished weights and temperatures

    + Adjust box taper and counter/stacker settings during changeovers

    + Print labels for finished goods and coordinate equipment repairs with maintenance

    • What You Bring

    + 1–2 years of experience operating production machinery and making equipment adjustments

    + Prior experience in food manufacturing or bakery environments preferred

    + Comfortable using computers for ERP data entry (PLEX experience a plus)

    + Basic English or Spanish communication skills

    + Ability to lift 30–55 lbs and push up to 30 lbs regularly

    + Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment and standing for 8+ hours

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
