Job Title: Laser Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Laser Machine Operator, where you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process by using a laser machine to create precision cuts on wood for rotary and flat dies. Responsibilities

+ Operate a laser machine to cut wood for rotary and flat dies.

+ Lift and load wood weighing up to 75 lbs into the machine.

+ Ensure accurate measurements using a ruler.

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ months of machine operation experience.

+ Proficiency in using rulers and taking measurements.

+ Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Trainable with a strong desire to learn.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Familiarity with blueprints and general labor tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a large, clean, and organized production shop with about 20-25 people on the floor. The environment is well-lit, temperature-controlled, and has a distinct smell of burning wood and glue. The position is on the 2nd shift from 1 pm to 9:30 pm, with training scheduled earlier from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Employees are paid daily, not weekly.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blaine, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
