             Job Title: Quality Control Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform physical testing on fabrics to ensure they meet all established quality criteria, communicating results to lead operators in lamination. The position requires a commitment to Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement. Responsibilities + Conduct in-process testing and visual examinations, including incoming vinyl inspection and testing of finished goods. + Manage the inspection process for incoming vinyl, including testing, disposition, release, data entry, and filing. + Enter all test data results into the ERP system. + Evaluate and determine the disposition of quality test results. + Perform daily Quality Audits in production areas. + Execute various clerical duties such as audits, data compilation, certification research, managing job paperwork, and filing. + Collect samples, conduct testing, and prepare samples for external testing. Essential Skills + High school diploma or GED. + 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a Quality department. + Ability to perform all quality work tasks and train others. + Strong math skills and proficiency in reading a tape measure. + Flexibility in work hours and shifts. + Capability to interact effectively with colleagues across departments. + Team player with the ability to work independently and make decisions. + Excellent verbal communication skills. + Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and ERP experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Machine operating, production, machine setup, and manufacturing experience. + Quality control expertise. Why Work Here? The warehouse is structured with racking systems up to 4-5 levels high. The company operates with 115 employees across multiple shifts, each having specific hours and break times. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
