    Job Title: CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist, where you will be pivotal in manufacturing precision components for high-performance coupling systems. Our facility, located in Dallas, North Carolina, specializes in producing fluid power valves and hose fittings used across various industries, including oil & gas, chemical processing, food & beverage, and construction.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components.

    + Inspect products to ensure they meet drawing specifications.

    + Read blueprints and use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

    + Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously.

    + Perform daily maintenance activities on equipment.

    + Participate in training programs to gain knowledge about our products.

    + Collaborate effectively with team members and work safely around equipment.

    + Adapt to rotating assignments as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with CNC Lathe or similar systems, preferably 2-3 years.

    + Proficient in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.

    + Ability to run 3-4 machines concurrently.

    + Experience in setting up machines (e.g., Myzak, Okuma) is a plus.

    + Experience with tight tolerance machining (1-2 thousandths +/- 5,000).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + At least 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.

    + Strong aptitude in math, mechanics, and computers.

    + Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.

    + Ability to use hand tools and read blueprints.

    + Manufacturing or machine shop experience required.

    + Ability to develop programming skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Willingness to learn and be part of a team.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled, spacious, and open environment. Utilize advanced Japanese CNC machines like Nakamura and Okuma, compatible with Fanuc operating systems, and occasionally work with Solazzo (Italian CNC). The facility operates on a third shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am, with a 10% shift premium, and you will be part of a team of 6-7 members.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, North Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr.

     

    401k, Medical, dental, Vison.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Dallas,NC.
