Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Description

Join a pioneering team working on cutting-edge technology in unmanned aircraft. You will be involved in harness fabrication, building avionics racks, and performing complex production assembly operations. Your role will also include inspections, rework, repair, and modification of parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

+ Perform harness fabrication and build avionics racks.

+ Conduct complex production assembly operations on electronic/electrical and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

+ Perform inspections, rework, repair, and modifications on parts and assemblies.

+ Work with advanced aircraft configurations, focusing on design build and R&D.

+ Collaborate with a team to advance the future of flight through innovation.

Essential Skills

+ 8+ years of avionics experience.

+ Proficiency in wire harness fabrication.

+ Experience with LRU, cabinet, and rack assembly.

+ Ability to work off schematics.

+ Modification or depot level experience.

+ Must provide shadowed tools.

+ US Citizenship is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of IPC 610 and 620 is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a hangar environment, Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM with likely overtime. Join a team of 7-8 skilled technicians in a dynamic and forward-thinking setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
