    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    Are you an experienced professional with over 2 years of warehousing experience, adept at handling and pulling heavy parts via an ERP system? Do you thrive in a quickly evolving, exciting, and innovative start-up environment? Join our team as a Material Handler/Warehouse Associate, where you will contribute to a purposeful mission with a breakthrough product.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the team with end-of-year inventory counting and auditing through manual counts.

    + Move and stock parts as required during the inventory audit.

    + Coordinate the movement of equipment, products, boxes, and parts within the facility.

    + Collaborate with the manufacturing and facilities team to manage incoming equipment and establish setups in a new facility.

    + Utilize the company's ERP system to identify and pull parts.

    + Problem-solve with a professional and positive attitude.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2+ years of recent warehousing experience, including inventory management, parts pulling, and/or kitting.

    + Experience in moving, lifting, and rearranging heavy equipment or parts.

    + Basic computer skills, with ERP system usage as a plus.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to work within ambiguity.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

    + Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

    + Experience with forklift operation is desirable.

    + Experience in the early stages of a start-up company.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled facility with an industrial manufacturing and warehousing environment. Enjoy a driven and collaborative culture, with many former Navy/military personnel. The company is currently located at a temporary address and will transition to a brand new site by next summer. The position is on the first shift, from 6am to 2:30pm, with the possibility of working 10-hour days and every other Saturday as needed.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
