    Job Title: Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Technician, working the night shift from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM on a rotating schedule. You will troubleshoot assembly equipment within the automation department, using tools such as multimeters to identify and resolve circuit and sensor faults. You will work with 3-phase/480 V equipment and VFDs, and will be responsible for replacing, transferring data, and editing settings within VFDs. You will also work with I/O sensors, troubleshoot, and replace faulty sensors. The role involves using computers to track work orders and preventative maintenance, as well as pneumatic systems for troubleshooting and repairing air lines. Mechanical troubleshooting is required, including disassembling and reassembling machine motors, using root cause analysis for problem-solving, and working with motor drives. Communication via radio with production and operations teams is crucial for proactive machine fixes. This position is based in a clean room environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment within the automation department.

    + Use multimeters to troubleshoot circuits and sensors to find faults.

    + Handle 3-phase/480 V equipment and work with VFDs.

    + Replace and transfer data/edit settings within VFDs.

    + Identify and replace faulty I/O sensors.

    + Track work orders and preventative maintenance using computers.

    + Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic air systems.

    + Perform mechanical troubleshooting, including disassembling and reassembling motors.

    + Use root cause analysis for problem-solving.

    + Communicate with production and operations teams via radio for proactive machine fixes.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical troubleshooting

    + Pneumatics troubleshooting

    + Experience with voltmeters and assembly equipment

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with robotic systems such as ABB or Fanuc using a teach pendant

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based on a night shift schedule from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM, rotating between three and four days each week, with four days off every other week. Initial orientation and training occur during the first shift, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, before transitioning to the designated night shift schedule. Technicians will work in a clean room environment, with 6 technicians per shift, and will rotate rooms every 6 months to ensure flexibility and exposure to various machines.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
