About the role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure optimal factory
performance by conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical
systems and machinery. You’ll troubleshoot components such as pumps, gearboxes,
hydraulics, and conveyors using specialized tools and technical documentation.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve urgent issues,
support equipment installations and upgrades, and maintain accurate records in
systems like SAP and COMOS. A strong focus on safety, reliability, and
continuous improvement is essential.
How You Will Make an Impact
+ Conduct Preventiveand Corrective Maintenance to ensure mechanical systems operate reliablythrough inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs.
+ Troubleshoot andDiagnose Mechanical Failures in components like pumps, gearboxes, andhydraulics to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
+ Support ContinuousImprovement by participating in Genba walks, analyzing KPIs, and adoptinga zero-breakdown mindset.
+ Maintain TechnicalDocumentation including manuals, drawings, and maintenance logs formechanical systems.
+ Perform ComponentLifecycle Analysis to schedule replacements based on wear patterns,historical data, and equipment tree parameters.
+ Ensure Safety andCompliance by following mechanical handling procedures and safetyregulations during all maintenance activities.
What We Expect You to Bring
+ **5+ years ofmechanical maintenance experience** , with preferrededucation in mechanical, electromechanical, or mechatronics. HS Diplomarequired.
+ **Skilled inhydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems** , including reading and interpreting related technical drawings andschematics.
+ **Organizedand disciplined** in task execution, with strong problem-solvingand troubleshooting abilities.
+ **Effectivecommunicator** with strong interpersonal skills forcollaboration with maintenance teams, suppliers, and production staff.
+ **Proficientin computer applications** such as Word,Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet tools.
+ **Familiarwith Maintenance Management Systems** , with experiencein COMOS and/or SAP considered a plus.
