The Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Clinical Manager provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant and Living Donor programs, overseeing all phases of care across pre-transplant, post-transplant, living donor services and dual-organ processes (SLK, SHK, or SKP). This role directs a multidisciplinary team of 19-20 clinical staff, ensuring seamless coordination of complex evaluations, procedures, and follow-up care while advancing patient-centered outcomes.
The manager ensures full compliance with UNOS, CMS, OPTN, ODH, and institutional regulatory standards and drives program performance through quality improvement initiatives, regulatory readiness, data accuracy, and workflow optimization. In partnership with nephrologists, surgeons, and key internal and external stakeholders, the manager strengthens referral pathways, supports National Kidney Registry (NKR) activities, and promotes evidence-based clinical practice.
As both clinical and administrative leader, the manager is responsible for staffing, scheduling, performance management, and the professional development of the care team. The role leverages data-driven tools such as Epic, Laudio, and BI Launchpad to monitor productivity, optimize operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. Through mentorship, accountability, and active engagement in interdisciplinary meetings and committees, the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program Manager upholds clinical excellence, regulatory integrity, and a culture of compassion, equity, and continuous improvement.
