Grow. with us. _To save time applying, Toyota does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this position at this time._ Who we’re looking for Toyota’s Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated **Workforce Planning Senior Analyst – Business Product Owner.** Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Workforce Planning, the person in this role will serve as the bridge between HR, Finance, and Technology teams to advance Toyota’s workforce planning capabilities through Workday Adaptive Planning, Prism Analytics, and related tools. This role combines business acumen, analytical expertise, and product ownership to design and deliver data-driven solutions that improve forecasting accuracy, enable scenario modeling, and enhance decision-making across the enterprise. The successful candidate will have: + Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills. + Excellent communication and able to operate independently and manage multiple priorities. This position is based in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location. What you’ll be doing Product Ownership & System Enablement + Serve as the Business Product Owner for Workday Adaptive Planning and Prism within the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) function. + Lead the product backlog—gather, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives. + Collaborate with HR Technology to design, configure, test, and deploy enhancements in Workday Adaptive and Prism. + Translate workforce planning needs into functional requirements that support scenario modeling, headcount forecasting, and cost planning. + Support development and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate end-to-end integrations across HR, Finance, and business systems. + Partner with leaders to align digital workforce planning tools with Toyota’s broader technology strategy and governance standards. Workforce Analytics & Forecasting + Build and maintain forecasting and scenario models to support strategic, headcount, and financial planning decisions. + Use Workday Adaptive and Prism to integrate and analyze workforce data (e.g., headcount, hiring, attrition, cost) from multiple systems. + Identify trends, opportunities, and risks through advanced data analysis and deliver actionable insights to leadership. + Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility through effective data management and validation processes. Project & Stakeholder Management + Manage mid-size, sometimes cross-functional projects related to workforce planning technology. + Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across HR, Finance, and business units, ensuring consistent communication and expectation management. + Document key deliverables, progress, and risks, providing visibility to leadership and governance forums. Continuous Improvement & Innovation + Identify automation and process improvement opportunities across workforce planning and analytics workflows. + Champion user adoption and self-service analytics capabilities within Workday tools. + Apply a continuous improvement mindset (Kaizen) to streamline processes and enhance system performance. What you bring + Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Human Resources Management, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a closely related field. + 3+ years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or business systems analysis. + Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and/or Workday Prism Analytics (or similar planning tools). + Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. + Proven ability to translate data into insights. + Excellent stakeholder management skills. + Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. Added bonus if you have + Certifications: + Workday HCM Core, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Prism Analytics + Analytics & Data Certifications- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300), Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Data Analyst, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate + Project / Product Management Certifications- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or PMP + Experience with predictive modeling, workforce scenario simulations, or AI-enabled analytics. + Understanding of Workday data structures and integrations between HR, Finance, and planning systems. + Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with complex data environments.
