             About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Tax Associate in Enterprise Customer Tax Utility as part of Chief Operating Office. In this role, you will: + Perform tax accounting activities related to the preparation of federal, state and local customer information tax reporting returns. + Prepare routine tax work papers, reconciliations, responses to internal information requests, research memos and correspondence. + Maintain required records related to customer information reporting tax returns and reports. + Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgment while developing basic knowledge of federal and state and local customer information reporting tax laws, rulings, regulations. + Collaborate and consult with peers, managers and stakeholders. Required Qualifications: + 6+ months of Corporate Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Desired Qualifications: + Experience with Customer Information Reporting - W-9 and W-8 validation concepts, back-up withholding processes and year-end 1099 reporting routines. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills + Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment. + Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. + Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills. + Experience in tax operations, tax risk mitigation, or tax compliance in a large financial institution. + Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
