The Human Resources Representative (HRR) is responsible for the administration of Human Resource functions in the Albany location. The successful HRR is planful, systematic, organized and must be able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a cooperative disposition. In addition, the HRR possesses a range of HR skills, as well as highly effective communication abilities with the capability to relate to individuals at all levels in the Company.
Qualifications
+ Must be 21 years or older
+ Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university preferred.
+ Three or more years of direct progressive experience in HR or related field required
+ Proven experience in and an understanding of Human Resources principles, required
+ Must demonstrate strong organizational skills
+ Valid driver’s license for applicable state required
+ Ability to secure and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws required
Responsibilities
+ Administer the Applicant Tracking System
+ Create new hire information, welcome letter, checklists
+ Schedule drug screens and any necessary pre-hire assessments
+ Review background and drug screens
+ Enter new hire information in Paycom, the Company’s HRIS (human resource information system)
+ Create and distribute ID badges
+ Set up iPhones and iPads for new associates
+ Conduct initial Company onboarding sessions for all new associates to ensure understanding of Company policies, benefit plans, pay frequency, safety and available resources
+ Process I-9 and E-verify for associates
+ Answer basic payroll questions
+ Conduct exit interviews
+ Collect technology and other company property from exiting associates
+ Send Ga Unemployment notices
+ Participate in Georgia Unemployment hearings, as necessary
+ Submit change of status forms
+ Reset Paycom passwords
+ In conjunction with the HRM in Savannah, assist with a broad range of employee relations duties including, but not limited to assisting and training managers in the application of hiring, performance, discipline and termination principles
+ Support and administer training, safety and workers’ compensation programs including maintenance of files, reports and logs at assigned company locations
+ Process entry for payroll, employee benefits, 401(k) plan transactions and perform necessary functions including payroll changes, plan enrollments, changes, and terminations as required
+ Support workers compensation case processing in partnership with third party administrator.
+ Maintain Department of Labor unemployment benefit records to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
+ Administer and track leave of absence programs including FMLA, Personal Leave, Military Leave and Workers’ Compensation Leave
+ In conjunction with the HRM in Savannah, Counsel and guide managers and assist in review of disciplinary and termination actions
+ Partner with all levels of management to ensure effective communication to their department associates of all pertinent information and announcements
+ Attend and actively participate in team meetings
+ Provide assistance and support to team members as needed
+ Maintain highest level of confidentiality in all Human Resources functions
+ Support and enforce all Company policies and applicable laws, rules and regulations to ensure compliance
+ Perform other related duties as assigned

+ High competency in the use of systems needed for the business including products, supplies and payroll

+ Effective administration of personnel practices and coaching to ensure they are maintained
