Anesthesia Veterinary Technician

VCA Aurora Animal Hospital** is growing its team and seeking a **Certified Veterinary Technician** to work closely with our **Anesthesiologist!
**Schedule:** Full-time, 4 x 10 hour shifts.
**Compensation:** $ 30 - $ 36 / hr, and the starting range is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field.
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care for our patients, supporting complex procedures, and contributing to a collaborative medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist the Anesthesiologist with patient preparation, induction, monitoring, and recovery.
+ Monitor vital signs, anesthesia depth, and overall patient status during procedures.
+ Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and medications according to hospital protocols.
+ Support surgical and specialty teams as needed.
+ Maintain accurate patient records and anesthesia logs.
+ Provide compassionate care to patients and clear communication to clients regarding anesthesia procedures.
+ Follow strict safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
+ Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
+ Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ Passion for providing high-quality patient care.
