Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

+ Provides leadership and direction within the club.

+ Collaborates with other Managers to drive Team Member engagement, develop talent by coaching, teaching, and developing Team Members, assess Team Member performance and provide actionable feedback.

+ Evaluates departmental performance using company reporting programs and provides recommendations to maximize sales, profits, and performance.

+ Evaluates and ensures operational processes are consistently followed in the highly controlled areas of receiving, asset control, human resources, and cash office.

+ Continually monitors customer service levels and ensures a positive service experience is delivered to all Members.

+ Establishes operational efficiencies and productivity standards within the department and reviews budgets, plans and P&L to identify profit opportunities.

+ Maintains an understanding of club policies and procedures across all areas of the club.

Qualifications

+ Able to work 100% in person at designated club.

+ Focused on post- grad career in retail management and operations.

+ Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and learn.

+ Able to work cross functionally with different leaders/team members across various departments to drive towards results.

+ Agile and eager to work with diverse stakeholders and tasks.

+ Strong business acumen with desire to work in an active, boots-on-the-ground environment where no day is the same.

+ People-focused, with positive leadership skills.

+ Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email) required .

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $20 - $25.
