    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Operations Specialist to join our IT team. This role is critical in safeguarding payment processes and ensuring a secure, efficient, and seamless ticketing experience. You will work at the intersection of payments, operations, treasury, and accounting, with a strong focus on managing physical pin pad terminals and mitigating risks related to chargebacks and fraud.

    Key Responsibilities

    Payment Operations Management

     

    + Oversee daily payment operations across multiple platforms.

    + Ensure secure and efficient processing of transactions.

    + Maintain compliance with internal controls and industry standards.

     

    Fraud Detection & Prevention

     

    + Monitor and analyze transaction patterns to identify suspicious activity.

    + Implement fraud prevention strategies and tools across digital platforms.

    + Respond promptly to fraud alerts and manage chargeback disputes.

     

    Risk & Security Oversight

     

    + Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to strengthen security protocols.

    + Manage physical pin pad terminals and ensure device integrity.

    + Conduct regular audits to minimize vulnerabilities in payment systems.

     

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

     

    + Partner with Treasury, Accounting, and Operations teams to streamline processes.

    + Provide insights and recommendations for improving fraud controls.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + Proven experience in fraud operations, payment processing, or risk management.

    + Strong understanding of payment systems, chargebacks, and fraud prevention tools.

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Familiarity with PCI compliance and security best practices.

     

    Preferred Skills

     

    + Experience with physical payment terminals and POS systems.

    + Knowledge of digital fraud trends and emerging technologies.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.50 - $43.25/hr.
