    **BODYARMOR** is looking for a Trade Planning Director to join our team.

     

    The **Trade Planning Director** is responsible for the trade spend strategy, forecasting, and accruals for all BASN-led customers, with responsibilities including our warehouse RTM, resulting in about $0.5 billion in trade spend overall. This highly visible lead role will partner with Sales to guide trade and volume budgeting on a monthly basis to ensure accurate P&L projections and reporting alignment to support commercial decision-making in support of overall financial objectives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Lead the business planning process strategy for BodyArmor, overseeing topline forecasting, trade strategy alignment, and scenario planning to drive informed, high-impact decisions across the commercial organization to ensure cohesive alignment with organizational objectives.

    + Collaborative leader responsible for partnering closely with Sales, RGM, and Finance leadership to shape strategic plans that balance growth, profitability, and brand objectives across all channels.

    + Own the warehouse component of the business, collaborating with the Sales lead and brokerage account to optimize distribution, pricing, and promotional strategy in BodyArmor's fastest-growing segment - a key pillar of the brand's long-term growth story.

    + Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on performance trends, market dynamics, and competitive insights, translating data into actionable business decisions.

    + Guide rate and mix analysis to understand underlying drivers of price realization, customer profitability, and volume trends across key accounts.

    + Lead the development and communication of topline forecasts, integrating cross-functional inputs and ensuring clear visibility to risks and opportunities.

    + Champion continuous improvement in planning tools, reporting systems, and cross-functional processes to enhance accuracy, agility, and strategic foresight.

    + Develop frameworks and dashboards to monitor channel performance, promotional ROI, and executional KPIs, driving accountability and clarity across the organization.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

    + 8+ years relevant business experience, including a minimum of 5 years in trade spend or finance leadership role required

    + Strong trade spend management experience required

    + People manager with excellent leadership capability, able to work in a networked environment and highly efficient communicator

    + Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment

    + Capacity to perform in-depth analysis while also understanding the 'big picture'

    + Proficient with MS Office Suite; expert in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel

    + Direct experience managing enterprise software implementation(s)

    Pay Range:$160,000 - $185,000

    Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

    Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:30

    Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
