Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley Position Overview: Masterfully executes supply chain functions such as data analytics, purchasing, demand planning, contracting, sourcing, technical integrations, quality assurance, compliance, training oversight, master data manipulation and inventory redistribution. Translates supervisor instructions into work assignments for subordinate analysts or other individual contributors. Innovates and advances the development of supply chain goals and objectives, builds system standards and practices, provides training on processes and technology, and audits for conformance to standards. Builds relationships with key stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement improvement plans to produce cost reductions, process efficiencies and corrective actions. Accomplishes high-level projects and tasks in conjunction with system-level leaders to promote an efficient, cost effective process that meets the long term vision of supply chain's senior leaders. Fully grasps and mentors teams on operations, business requirements and available decision support analytics tools and data sources. Management reserves the right to revise the job description or require that other tasks be performed when the circumstances of the job change (for example, emergencies, staff changes, workload, or technical development)._ JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: + Identify the sources of data within the organization and streamline the method in which the data is collected, organized and displayed so that it can be efficiently used by the organization. + Review Supply Chain data and identify key trends and issues which need to be addressed by the business in order to improve customer experience, drive business improvement and reduce costs across the organization. + Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. + Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with data originating in multiple platforms. + Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and processes. + Document/update work processes, auditing staff for compliance; training to address gaps. + Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects. + Research and seek out the most cost-efficient procedures and methods. + Oversee implementation of new tools or enhance existing tools to improve the Supply Chain planning process. + Prepare and present findings to personnel across the organization including executive leadership. EDUCATION: _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ Bachelor's in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 5 years recent relevant experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of end-to-end business systems processes and flows. Knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), EPIC, and related information systems. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software and supporting applications. Communication skills in engaging with business and internal and external partners. Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
