    In this job, you'll perform accounting, administrative and warehousing functions associated with operations and maintenance activities. This includes collaborating with various departments to meet a common goal, resolving problems, meeting deadlines, and conducting yourself respectfully and professionally. This organization is highly visible to management at a local level due to supporting the whole district/grid on reports and completing deadlines.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Basic clerical and accounting experience.

    + Valid U.S. Driver License.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience processing and closing work orders.

    + Proficiency in data entry and attention to detail.

    + Knowledgeable with material management processes and procedures.

    + Experienced with various applications/programs such as SAP, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

    + Familiar with field construction materials.

    + Familiar with the various phases of work order closure and timekeeping processes.

    + Providing exceptional internal/external customer service.

    + The primary work location for this position is the work location is the Central Orange County Service Center. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at alternate work location.

    + Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.

    + This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.

    + Relocation does not apply to this position.

    + This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Reference our Information Guides (https://www.edisoncareers.com/page/show/sce-pre-employment-study-guides/) for the following tests: Basic Data Entry (4101), EEI BCAB (5206) and SCE Word - MS 365 (4117). Candidates who have previously passed these assessment(s), in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
