Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Manager Supply Chain 2** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located **onsite** in **Irving, TX** .
The Manager Supply Chain 2 is responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Participates in various aspects of supply chain process areas: Supply Chain-Plan, Supply Chain-Source, Supply Chain-Make, Supply Chain-Deliver as well as Supply Chain-Operations. Exhibits end-to-end supply chain competency and manages one or more Supply Chain functions (Planning, Sourcing, Small Business/Disadvantaged Programs, Supplier Quality, Warehouse & Transportation, Analytics, Compliance, Systems, etc.).
Responsibilities Include:
+ Ensure a safe work environment for all team members
+ Provide supervision and support to NG DFW warehouse personnel
+ Ensure processes are current and followed by the team
+ Delegate specific tasks flowed down from Management appropriately
+ Communicate and implement sector/department goals and initiatives flowed from higher management
+ Create a culture/environment conducive to personal development
+ Conduct regular staff and one-on-one meetings
+ Coordinate resources and plan emerging/new requirements needed from the site
+ Ensure high quality support for abnormal/urgent material shipments
+ Monitor performance metrics and react appropriately to maintain high standards
+ Coordinate training and ensure compliance
+ Work with SEKO to provide necessary facility related service
+ Order supplies
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain, OR a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain, OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years of experience in supply chain in lieu of a degree
+ 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
+ Basic knowledge of an MRP/ERP system
+ Ability to work a 4/10 Shift schedule - Monday- Thursday
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
+ Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude
+ Working Knowledge of SAP
Primary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
