This role supports key certification programs (SQF, GFSI, and Organic), internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a solid quality background in a food manufacturing environment and is eager to expand into a leadership path.

    We are looking for a sharp professional that possesses these top 3 skills:

    + Food Quality Assurance experience

    + SQF/GFSI certification or extensive knowledge

    + Quality auditing experience

    **Pay:** $26-$32/hr

    **Schedule:** M-F 8a-5p (Will move to an earlier schedule after training is completed)

    **Type of Job:** Contract to permanent

    **Location** : (Onsite 100% Conley/Forest Park)

    **Food Safety & Quality Compliance Specialist** **Daily Tasks** : What you will do:

    + Support the implementation and maintenance of GFSI, SQF, HACCP, and Organic programs.

    + Assist in audit readiness — coordinate documentation, records, and floor execution to ensure compliance with certification and regulatory requirements.

    + Conduct and document internal audits; follow up on corrective actions and improvements.

    + Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with food safety and quality procedures.

    + Participate in risk assessments, recalls, and program updates as needed.

    + Provide training and support to production teams on food safety policies and best practices.

    + Serve as backup SQF Practitioner and key contributor to certification maintenance.

    + Support data analysis and report trends to guide continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Contribute to audit presentations and customer communication under the guidance of the Quality Manager.

    **Food Safety & Quality Compliance Specialist** Qualifications/Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent required

    + 1+ years of Food Quality Assurance experience

    + Recall and organic program experience is a plus!

    + SQF, GFSI certifications are a plus! SQF, GFSI knowledge is required

    + Valid Driver’s License required to commute between two locations in close proximity
