             Maintenance Technician Repair/Maintenance & Installation New Albany , OH, US Pay Rate Low: 40 | Pay Rate High: 50 + Added - 30/10/2025 Apply for Job Our client, a global biotechnology innovator dedicated to advancing life-saving therapies, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their high-performance manufacturing team. **Pay Range:** $40-50/hr **Schedule:** Day Shift or Night Shift (12 hour shifts working 3-4 days per week 6p-6:30a or 6:30a-6p) **Training shift:** 2-3mo training period, 1st shift **Location:** New Albany OH **Type: Contract** (possible hire) Key Responsibilities + Perform maintenance, operation, and repair of all manufacturing and facility equipment + Support engineering and operations with equipment installation, testing, and qualification + Maintain systems and subsystems in compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and internal regulations and policies + Keep all assigned equipment areas in a state of inspection readiness + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems + Complete preventive maintenance and associated cGMP documentation accurately and on time + Coordinate with contractors for equipment repairs, modifications, and installations + Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to support system improvements and reliability projects + Identify training needs and contribute to maintenance process enhancements + Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports following documentation best practices + Participate in required safety and cGMP training sessions Qualifications Basic Requirements: + Associate degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or + High school diploma/GED and 6+ years of relevant experience Preferred Experience: + 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance or equipment support + Experience in a GMP-regulated or pharmaceutical/biotech environment + Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills + Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Maximo + Working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, and lubrication systems + Understanding of cGMP principles, preventive, and predictive maintenance techniques + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and SOPs + Strong documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail + Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working at heights up to 15 feet  _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
