             Job Description Summary The Operations Support Leader for SCO is responsible for driving operational performance, strategic initiatives, support day-to-day production needs, and drive business performance expectations across safety, quality, execution delivery and cost. This role will encompass a wide range of tasks that are concentrated on employee safety, employee development, product quality initiatives and process capability improvements. Additional responsibilities will include providing training to ensure that all staff members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs compliantly, safely and effectively. Job Description Essential Responsibilities: Includes but is not limited to: + Partner with leadership to build a strong operating rhythm and define clear outcomes for the plant + Drive consistent and standardized work processes and operating rhythm for the plant + Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team on key initiatives. + Support the production team in driving daily process efficiency and effectiveness + Collaborate across teams and functions to support simplification, align operations with business priorities, and lead or support key cross-functional initiatives + Monitor operational performance and leverage KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement. Use data to drive decision-making, analyze trends, and recommend enhancements + Lead or participate in critical business projects and operational initiatives from planning through execution + Participate in LEAN initiatives by conducting process evaluations and implementing improvements + Partner with leadership team to drive continuous improvement in project delivery + Audit, communicate, and correct procedure deficiencies + Continue driving ESQ (Excellence in Safety & Quality) initiatives within the control rod blade value stream. Ensure program is being sustained and delivering results for the team by monitoring effectiveness and making necessary adjustments + Manage SCO condition reports, ongoing actions etc + Support team leaders in coordinating training specific to the shop. Help develop training plan for new personnel and equipment to ensure we can meet customer demands + Support Human Performance (HU) observation program and drive improvements + Own facility planning and execution of updates, changes, and equipment movement + Develop onboarding process for new hires along with new employee orientation + Fill in as a supervisor when needed + Perform other relevant duties as assigned Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with 3 years of experience managing/supporting people, operations functions, or in a production environment OR + Associates degree with 5 experience managing/supporting people, operations functions, or in a production environment + OR + 7 years of experience managing/supporting people, operations functions, or in a production environment Eligibility Requirements + Ability to work fully onsite + Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times during the day. Ability to move around and under manufacturing equipment. + Ability to use computers. + Ability to support weekends if needed to fill in for supervision. + Proficiently utilize a variety of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, & Outlook are most common) applications daily for data tracking, reporting, etc + An offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen + **_This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government._** Desired Characteristics: + Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools + Additional cross-functional leadership experience in the areas of Finance, Project Management, Engineering and/or Quality is preferred + Demonstrable influencing and problem-solving abilities; high Say-Do ratio + Proven track record of operational leadership and process improvement + Proven change driver with focus on executing efficiently in a complex, diverse, and dynamic cross-functional global team + Effective interpersonal and leadership skills The salary range for this position is $90,400.00 - 120,400.00 USD annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
