             Job Description Summary On the Product Definition Systems Modeling team within Gas Power Engineering, you will be responsible for the assembly and system integration of Gas Turbine Accessory System CAD models. Gas Turbine Accessory Systems include piping, instrumentation, structural, and mechanical subsystems. Systems Modeling is an iterative process that provides an accurate CAD environment to develop new hardware designs and output customer deliverables at planned intervals. Each customer receives a project-specific CAD assembly of the equipment that will be assembled at their power plant. This CAD assembly is used by GE Vernova and our customers for concurrent engineering, design in context, site planning, installation preparation, and interface management. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities + Deliver NX CAD assembly of all Gas Turbine Accessory systems per project requirements and Bill of Material. + Lead CAD reviews to ensure proper interface management between systems. + Drive collaboration between piping, instrumentation, structural, and mechanical design teams. + Apply Systems Thinking to identify risks and engage appropriate stakeholders in risk mitigation. + Provide Quality Assurance using Navisworks to check for clashes between systems. + Understand customer deliverables and validate that NX CAD assembly includes necessary and accurate details. + Navigate Product Lifecycle Management system and interpret schematics, device summaries, engineering specifications, and Bill of Materials. + Embrace Lean and apply its principles in Continuous Improvement and Daily Management. + Prioritize Safety, Quality, Delivery, then Cost (SQDC) in that order in everything you do. + Communicate project progress, status, risk, necessary inputs, and target dates to internal and external stakeholders. + Actively participate in Monday Morning Planning (MMP) to prioritize workload across multiple demand sources (new unit projects, change orders, product standards, customer support, etc). + Develop & implement Standard Work updates to improve current processes + Recognize and celebrate team successes (in Customer projects, Continuous Improvement, etc). + Continually learn and apply latest CAD and Product Lifecycle Management techniques. + Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy. + In-depth understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. + Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. + A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Required Qualifications + Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with 5+ years of Engineering experience Or Technical Associates degree with 8 years of relevant product definition experience. + Proficiency with NX or another advanced CAD platform. + Must be able to work 100% onsite in Greenville, SC. + Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future. Desired Characteristics + Experience with Dassault ENOVIA or Siemens Teamcenter PLM system. + Experience with industrial equipment design and/or installation, especially power plant equipment. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. + Established project management skills. + Demonstrated ability to work in a global, matrix organization. + Knowledge of manufacturing processes, capabilities, and assembly procedures. + Spirit of innovation. + Commitment to customer satisfaction. + Lean mindset. + Strong team player with desire to contribute to success of others. + Accountable to deliver on commitments in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to prioritize most impactful work and adjust to rapid change in priorities. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office tool suite. For purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, The base pay range for this position **is $88,600.00 - $147,600.00 USD per year.** The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% variable incentive performance bonus. *The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
