    The dedicated Wellness Manager serves as a strategic advisor and leader in shaping and executing a comprehensive wellness strategy aligned with the Client’s organizational goals. This role will work closely with the Client, Consultant and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) account management team to influence culture, drive employee engagement, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance health and productivity. The Manager will incorporate innovative approaches to support employees’ emotional, physical, social, and financial wellness. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of a corporate wellness program structure, the ability to collaborate across various functions of the organization as well as a high degree of initiative, critical thinking, and independent judgment.

     

    The Client Wellness Manager will be responsible for tracking wellness activities, making recommendations for improvement, working with outsourced vendors to monitor and ensure appropriate support and services levels, and reporting and analyzing metrics for trends. In addition, the Client Wellness Manager will be responsible for and will be the point of contact for all benefits related to employee wellness and to educate and influence employee wellness and to promote healthy lifestyles.

     

    This position is eligible for the Flex persona.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Strategy Development

    + Collaborate with Client’s benefits team to develop and execute an action plan for wellness by identifying organization’s goals and workforce health risks

    + Partner with Client’s benefits team in overall strategy promotion and deployment

    + Develop and leads wellness strategy in conjunction with Client, Consultant and all vendor partners

    + Identify ways to embed wellness into the employee life cycle and organizational culture through change management initiatives

    + Identify and partner with the Clients communication consultant and wellness vendor to create or craft health promotion communications to create awareness and visibility for wellness

    + Monitors and analyzes participation, engagement, and health outcomes to identify trends and recommend strategic program enhancements to Client

    + Establish and monitor claims analysis and program engagement to evaluate program effectiveness and to enable continuous improvement

    + Attends internal Client meetings, strategy meetings with Consultant, wellness vendor meetings, and partnership meetings with BCBCMA

    + Content Delivery

    + Provide content and strategic direction in support of onsite or virtual wellness events such as walking programs, individual or team challenges, seminars, support groups, wellness fairs, etc.

    + Assist with coordination of activities such as biometric screenings, online Health Assessment, guest speakers, mammogram screening, family wellness events, etc.

    + Coordinates with partners to ensure Client has appropriate content to align with Client communication calendar

    + Coordinates with BCBSMA to ensure systematic communications align

    + Develop targeted communication strategies and deliver presentations to diverse employee groups and leadership teams

    + Collaborate with internal stakeholders, ERGs, and external partners to deliver inclusive and impactful wellness initiatives

    + Partners with wellness vendor to ensure calendar of wellness activities and events are aligned with strategic wellness goals.

    + Assist wellness vendor with Wellness Champions network to amplify program reach and impact

    + Vendor Management

    + Support relationships with wellness related benefit partners to maximize value, ensure service quality, program offerings are delivered as agreed

    + Tracks utilization metrics with support of partners

    + Identify opportunities to maximize vendor partnerships and emerging technologies to drive employee engagement

    + Travel

    + Occasional travel expectation to identify locations within the organization for program execution purposes.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in health and wellness field

    + Industry Certification such as CHES or worksite wellness program

    + Bachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion, or related field

    + Experience with workplace wellness strategy and implementation and design of workplace infrastructure and engagement solutions

    + Experience with direct member communication development (written and verbal)

    + Experience conducting educational presentations

    Salary Range: $83,430.00 - $101,970.00

     

    The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

     

    This job is also eligible for variable pay.
