We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Coordinator to join our team.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating outbound shipments, managing shipping documentation, and ensuring that products are accurately and safely delivered to customers. Key Responsibilities:

+ Create and manage accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, serial numbers, box counts, weights, and dimensions.

+ Schedule shipments via common carriers, FedEx, UPS, and coordinate international shipments as needed.

+ Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.

+ Load and unload MPE’s company truck for product transfers to offsite warehouse locations.

+ Verify shipments against sales orders or shipping instructions to ensure accuracy.

+ Communicate with internal departments to resolve shipment discrepancies or special handling instructions.

+ Maintain shipping records and enter data into ERP or shipping software systems.

+ Monitor inventory of shipping supplies and report replenishment needs.

+ Assist with general warehouse duties and receiving as required.

+ Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shipping area.

Qualifications

Education:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience and Training:

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping or warehouse coordination.

+ Forklift training/certification required.

+ ERP and shipping software experience preferred.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

+ Valid Driver's License

Physical and Mental Demands:

+ Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and use hands to handle objects and tools.

+ Must be able to read shipping documentation and perform accurate data entry.

+ Occasionally required to sit.

+ Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to read labels and documentation.
