Job Description _Objective / Purpose:_ The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), senior manager level, will be responsible for engaging people leaders and employees to implement and support tools, processes and programs designed to help the assigned function deliver on our annual pipeline, operational and people & culture objectives. Focus areas include employee experience, employee relations, organizational design, learning and talent management, performance lifecycle, total rewards, communications and change management for assigned groups. In addition, the HRBP will have the opportunity to collaborate with Center of Excellence and Innovation (COEI) and embedded thought leaders (i.e. Learning and Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People and Labor Relations) to deliver strategic initiatives designed to transform the organizational culture across the function. This position is currently classified as “hybrid” in accordance with Takeda’s Hybrid and Remote Work policy. **_Accountabilities:_** The HRBP will support global and US-based employees and people leaders, performing, guiding, and advising on Takeda’s HR-strategy and HR-related operations for assigned groups. Responsibilities include: + Support HR Business Leaders with the implementation of HR strategy and priorities across the organization. + Model and reinforce Takeda’s values and Leadership Behaviors, ensuring organizational goals and objectives are aligned with HR best practices. + Support and advise people leaders and employees with annual HR-processes including goal setting, performance reviews, talent review, compensation planning and calibration. Conduct any follow-up actions resulting from annual processes. + Regularly review and audit employee data system of record to ensure data integrity. + Provide counsel to people leaders and employees on employee relations issues. Assesses employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and work/performance issues, complaints while ensuring legal compliance, leveraging employee abilities, and managing risk and escalates to Employee Relations group when necessary. Follow guidance from People and Labor Relations (PLR) group and implements actions. + Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruiting and hiring strategies for functional groups. + In partnership with Compensation, proposes solutions to address compensation concerns. Manage compensation process for functional groups to include equity assessment, job description creation/updates/analysis and salary administration. + Leverage organizational toolkits and communication channels to ensure consistent communication and implementation of HR-best practices across assigned functional groups including promoting awareness, facilitating discussions, and providing training to employees on topics such as new HR initiatives, professional development, career paths, Diversity, Inclusion & Equity, etc. as needed. + Review and analyze employee survey data and feedback to identify trends and make recommendations to address opportunities for improvement. + Work with internal partners such as Global Mobility, Legal, Security, Compliance, and other HR departments to resolve employee issues as appropriate. + Work with Country People Advisory Groups and local HR teams on items relating to local policy or employment practices. _Education & Competencies (Technical and Behavioral):_ Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree prefered + Minimum 5+ years human resources generalist, or related, experience + Computer skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HRIS platforms (i.e. WorkDay). Experience with data analytics platforms like PowerBI or Visier a plus. + This role is considered a hybrid position and candidates must be able to work onsite to engage in meaningful in-person interactions as the work necessitates. + Willingness to travel to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. For Location: Lexington, MA $137,000.00 - $215,270.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
