Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 1:1 Afterschool Support with Phlebotomy Certification

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid Phlebotomy Certification to provide 1:1 support in our afterschool program. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys working with children and adolescents in a structured, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide direct 1:1 care and supervision to assigned student(s) during afterschool hours

+ Assist with daily activities, hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders as needed

+ Perform phlebotomy procedures when required, following all safety and clinical protocols

+ Monitor and document health-related observations and behaviors

+ Collaborate with program staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care

+ Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all participants

Qualifications:

+ Active CNA certification in California

+ Valid Phlebotomy Certification (Preferred)

+ Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or youth in a healthcare or educational setting

+ CPR/First Aid certification preferred

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

+ Must pass background check and health clearance

Schedule:

+ Weekdays, between 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

+ Additional hours may be available based on program needs
