    Special Education Teacher | TK–8 | Santa Maria, CA | $60/hr Local | $2,829/wk Travel | 2025–2026 School Year | In-Person

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking multiple Special Education Teachers to support TK–8 students in the Santa Maria, CA area. This full-time, in-person role begins November 10th, 2025, and runs through the entire 2025–2026 school year.

    Position Details

    + Location: Santa Maria, CA

    + Start Date: November 10th, 2025

    + End Date: End of school year

    + Duration: 36 weeks

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday

    + Hours: 37.5/week

    + Modality: In-person only

    + Grade Levels: TK–8 (assignments discussed during interview)

    + Classroom Setting & Caseload: TBD during interview

    + Openings: 5

    + Interview Feedback: Within 1 day

    + Pay: $60/hr local (negotiable); $2,829 gross weekly for travel candidates

    Requirements

    + Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential: Mild/Moderate (CA M/M Cred)

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in a teaching environment

    + Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
