• AWS Cloud Formation Consultant

    CTG (Dallas, TX)


    CTG is seeking to fill an AWS CloudFormation Consultant position for our client in Dallas, TX.

     

    **Duration:** 6 months

    Duties:

    + Design, develop, and maintain AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK.

    + Implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments aligned with best practices.

    + Develop and manage AWS IAM policies, roles, and permissions for various AWS use cases.

    + Collaborate with security, architecture, and operations teams to optimize identity and access management.

    + Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and automate processes using scripting tools.

    + Support the design and implementation of SSO and IAM solutions across cloud and enterprise systems.

    Skills:

    + Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK for infrastructure as code (IaC).

    + Strong understanding of AWS IAM concepts, features, and best practices.

    + Experience designing and implementing IAM policies for multiple AWS services.

    + Solid problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

    + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Experience:

    + 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and implementation.

    + Hands-on experience with AWS IAM, S3, EC2, and VPC.

    + Experience integrating IAM tools such as Okta, SailPoint, MS Entra, or Cloud Identity.

    + Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory, TDI).

    + Scripting experience for automating provisioning and identity management across cloud and enterprise systems.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

    + AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification preferred.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
