CTG is seeking to fill a Java & Web Technologies Developer position for our client in Houston, TX.

**Duration:** 11 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java and modern web technologies.

+ Build and deploy scalable microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.

+ Develop RESTful APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and maintainability.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

+ Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in software delivery and DevOps.

+ Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following software engineering standards.

+ Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application performance.

Skills:

+ Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud

+ Go (Golang) in a production environment

+ Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger

+ MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL

+ CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools and practices

+ Familiarity with Angular, Node.js, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience:

+ 5+ years of professional experience in Java development

+ 4+ years with the Spring ecosystem

+ 1–2 years hands-on Go (Golang) experience

+ Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

+ Solid grasp of testing frameworks and methodologies for Java and Go

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
