    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of GEHC product development and manufacturing. Assignments may include but are not limited to set up and running of data acquisition equipment for tests, carrying out experiments, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Main responsibilities include loading, testing, and unloading light imager panels and detectors into X-ray testers. These components are reviewed for defects or issues prior to shipping to ensure quality standards are met.

    Other responsibilities include:

    + Performing work from detailed instructions and maintaining daily production output with accurate records of the work performed and other records as may be required by management.

    + As required, with guidance, providing data for formal reports (oral and written) of the work. Also, preparing and submitting, with guidance, appropriate disclosure letters of patentable ideas when a contribution has been made and evaluated by the supervisor.

    + Making limited decisions related to the scope of specific tasks, with guidance.

    + Primarily performing production work, with reliance on others for non-standard tasks. Slightly more than minimum flexibility and adaptability expected.

    + Complying with all EHS, Training, and Quality procedures and policies.

    + Under supervision, performing routine experiments, adjusting variables as directed, and collecting specified data.

    + Setting up or modifying equipment, calibrating, performing maintenance, and operating equipment (mainly routine tests and manufacturing operations) from detailed instructions.

    + Under supervision, performing routine troubleshooting of processes or equipment and bringing equipment irregularities to the attention of the supervisor.

    + Using Lean tools to improve established processes and metrics in daily work; participating in Action Workouts.

    + Sharing acquired skills or knowledge with others; training others on manufacturing processes.

    + Updating OMS as needed.

    + Executing Tool Qualifications and potentially assisting in the development of test scripts for tool qualifications.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    + Associates degree in Applied Sciences (or local equivalent 2 year degree), OR a High School diploma (or local equivalent) and 1 or more years technical experience

    + Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information

    + Demonstrated ability to work well with general direction and information

    + Ability to communicate using English

    + Demonstrated proficiency to utilize computerized work

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills

    For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $37,840.00-$56,760.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
