Join our dynamic team as an IT Consultant specializing in Data Analytics. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a passion for data-driven decision-making and a knack for solving complex problems. You will work closely with a close-knit team of experts, contributing to projects involving regression modeling and data analysis. This role offers the opportunity to transition from a contract to a permanent position, with the potential to lead a team in the future.

_This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

_Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2_

Responsibilities:

+ Drive the success of the data analytics function by providing detailed analysis of various data.

+ Support new products or operational improvements through proactive identification of areas of opportunity based on data trends.

+ Resolve issues of strategic importance by directing high visibility projects.

+ Generate timely and valuable analytical results through regular communication with senior management.

+ Enhance the success of analytical solutions through detailed and complex data analyses.

+ Produce reports, ad hoc requests, and dashboards by managing data integration from multiple sources.

+ Identify and define data quality improvements to develop new strategies and improve business performance.

+ Mitigate risks by conducting quality data audits and analysis to ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements.

+ Utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and optimization methods for quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

Experience Requirements:

Key Technical Skills:

+ Strong knowledge of SQL

+ Programming experience in SAS/R/Python/Alteryx

+ Advanced statistical concepts (regression model development, testing, deployment)

+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

+ Experience with geospatial analytics (preferred)

+ AI tools knowledge (preferred)

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities

+ Problem-solving and critical thinking

+ Adaptability and flexibility

+ Strong storytelling skills for data-driven presentations

Education Requirements:

Master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred. Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree can be considered.

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
