Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our Fairview Woodwinds Clinic in Woodbury, MN! This is a .75 FTE (60 hours per 2 weeks) position. This position will include additional travel to our Rice Street Clinic in St Paul, MN. The schedule is as follows:
Week 1:
Tuesday: 7AM - 5PM
Wednesday: 9:30AM - 8PM
Friday: 7AM - 5PM
Saturday: 9AM - 5PM
Week 2:
Tuesday: 9:30AM - 8PM
Wednesday: 7:30AM - 6PM (Rice Street Clinic)
Friday: 9:30AM - 8PM
Week 3:
Wednesday: 8:30AM - 8PM
Friday: 8:30AM - 8PM
Saturday: 9AM - 5PM
Week 4:
Tuesday: 9:30AM - 8PM
Wednesday: 7:30AM - 6PM (Rice Street Clinic)
Friday: 9:30AM - 8PM
The Specialty Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging in multiple ambulatory settings and locations. Responsible for providing quality age-appropriate patient care for patients according to established standards of practice and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The specialty radiologic technologist supports all imaging procedures, surgical cases, fluoroscopy studies, portable x-ray, and general x-ray performed the ambulatory setting. Provides assist in the opening of the supplies/equipment for surgical and special procedure cases as well as responding to codes, trauma activations and other emergent needs for imaging in an ambulatory care environment.
Responsibilities
+ Accurately performs diagnostic exams and procedures
+ Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of service
+ Completes quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
+ Ensures patient data integrity
+ Accurately maintains and updates patient records including; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner
+ Performs accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
+ Participates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
+ Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
+ ARRT Certification/Registration
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) before date of hire
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelors Degree
+ 3 years experience as a technologist in a hospital setting
+ Advanced Imaging modality certification
