Find your purpose as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Inpatient Behavioral Health Units at the St Cloud Hospital - CentraCare!

As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for Inpatient Behavioral Health you will serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities include processing of physician orders, maintaining the patient’s chart and performing clerical/receptionist duties to support patient care staff.

Schedule:

+ Part-time | 36 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud

+ 12-hour day shift | Working 8am-8:30pm or 9am-9:30pm

+ Will be scheduled every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) | holiday rotation

Pay and Benefits:

+ Starting pay begins at $17.93 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience

+ Pay range: $17.00-$25.54 per hour

+ Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts

Qualifications:

+ High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required

+ Knowledge of medical terminology required

+ National Health Unit Coordinator certification preferred

+ Previous experience utilizing an EMR (electronic medical record) preferred

+ Minimum of one year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred
