    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly analytical and technically savvy Business Analyst to join our Credit Research Technology team. You will be embedded within a dynamic group focused on building innovative research and investment tools used by credit analysts and portfolio managers. Working closely with product owners, developers, and investment professionals, you will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions that drive smarter investment decisions across our fixed income portfolios.

     

    Your Impact

    As a Senior Business Analyst [Consultant], you will:

    • Lead the definition and delivery of business and system requirements to support credit research, model-driven analysis, and portfolio management tools.

    • Serve as a key liaison between credit analysts, portfolio managers, and technology teams to ensure business needs are translated into scalable, high-performance technical solutions.

    • Drive end-to-end documentation and stakeholder alignment across agile delivery cycles.

    • Help shape the data strategy for credit research by integrating credit model data, issuer fundamentals, ESG inputs, and alternative datasets into the research ecosystem.

    • Influence the firm’s digital transformation initiatives through delivery excellence and thought leadership

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis at an asset management or banking firm

     

    - Experience working directly with portfolio managers, traders, and credit analysts

     

    - SQL querying experience

     

    - Ability to drive technology based projects

     

    - AI/ML frameworks in financial modeling/ other projects

     

    - Excellent business acumen and communication skills

     

    - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and investment processes - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline

     

    - Scrum Master certified

     

    - Fixed Income experience

    - CFA Certification or progress toward completion

    - Familiarity with third-party credit platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI).
