Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Data Privacy Analyst to join a client in a permanent opportunity onsite in Dallas, TX 4 days a week. The Data Privacy Analyst plays a critical role in embedding privacy by design principles into business processes and technology initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and coordinate efforts. This position supports daily privacy operations, including the intake and tracking of data subject requests (DSRs), contract reviews, data mapping, and privacy assessments. The analyst is responsible for maintaining and updating privacy documentation such as policies, procedures, records of processing activities (ROPAs), and training materials. A key aspect of the role involves administering and configuring data privacy tools, with a particular focus on managing cookies and similar technologies. The Data Privacy Analyst tracks and analyzes privacy metrics and incident trends to support compliance and reporting, verifies that systems and processes adhere to internal privacy policies and regulatory obligations, and collaborates extensively with IT, Security, Legal, Human Resources, and other departments to address privacy-related requests and projects. Staying up to date on evolving privacy laws, regulations, and best practices, the analyst summarizes relevant updates for internal stakeholders and helps promote a culture of privacy awareness by supporting internal training and education initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
-1– 3 years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or related fields (internships acceptable).
-Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Information Systems, Legal Studies, Cybersecurity, Business, or Compliance.
-Foundational understanding of data protection principles and regulations- specifically GDPR and CCPA
-Experience with OneTrust or similar alternative- able to configure
-Breadth of experience with both Consumer and Employee data
-Experience setting up a Cookie Banner, new workflows -Professional certifications (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or CIPT) are a plus but not required.
-Basic familiarity with data flows, systems, or information governance is a plus.
