Job Description
- Provide configuration and implementation support of the system migration to Workday Time Tracking and nonexempt Absence across the U.S. and Puerto Rico
- Capture configuration needs through current system and state analysis
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, design and configure scalable solutions
- Support system testing, validation, troubleshooting and hypercare to ensure accurate absence data for non-union and union populations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, union CBA requirements, company policies, and data governance standards
- Provide post-go-live support and optimization recommendations
- Configure Workday business processes for Time Tracking and Absence workflows
- Configure absence types such as Paid Time Off (PTO), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Jury Duty, etc.
- Customize absence plans based on tenure, employment type, state, exemption status and union CBA requirements
- Recommend best practices and manage time entry rules, schedules, and validation criteria
- Implement eligibility rules for Time Tracking and Absence plans based on location, job profile, etc.
- Partner on integration builds for time-off balance management (limited sites) inbound and outbound
- Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to ensure seamless documentation, knowledge transfers and data flows across modules and support integration

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring Workday Modules: Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence including successful migration of historical system(s) to Workday Time Tracking and Absence
- Full project cycle (discovery, design, configuration, testing, etc. through hyper care support) Workday Time Tracking and Absence migration experience in a multi-state, union organization of 15,000+ colleagues
- Experience with ADP e-time or Kronos/UKG to Workday experience
- Strong understanding of payroll operations, absence policies, and time tracking workflows within Workday
- Workday HCM or Payroll certification
- Familiarity with Workday integrations and reporting tools
