Job Description

One of our large global engineering and manufacturing clients is looking to hire cable technicians to join their growing team. The technician performs routine assembly operations, and subassemblies by using blueprints, drawings, diagrams and written processes.

Skills and Requirements

-High school diploma

-Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cable assembly

-Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly process documentation

-Experience routing and terminating cables

-Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Associates Degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering Preferred

-Military Technical School Training related to Electro-Mechanical Engineering

-Certifications in Electro-Mechanical studies from an Accredited Technical/Trade School helpful

-IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or IPC J-STD-001 certification preferred.
