Pediatric Occupational Therapist-Home Health

As a **Pediatric Occupational Therapist** , you’ll help children with a wide range of needs — including developmental, behavioral, and medically complex conditions — build the skills they need for greater independence, confidence, and daily success.

Responsibilities include:

+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support each child’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

+ Provide direct therapy services in both **clinic and home settings** , promoting skill carryover across environments.

+ Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to ensure children achieve meaningful outcomes.

+ Recommend adaptive equipment and train families on proper use and integration into daily routines.

+ Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports.

+ Collaborate closely with parents and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals and strategies at home.

+ Work as part of an **interdisciplinary team** to deliver coordinated, holistic care for every child.

_Qualifications:_

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

+ Must be licensed OT/L in Texas

+ Drivers License

+ Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly

+ A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
