Full-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist Home Health
What You’ll Do
As a **Pediatric Physical Therapist** , you’ll help children with a wide range of developmental, physical, and medically complex needs reach their highest level of independence. Through compassionate, individualized care, you’ll support each child in improving their mobility, strength, coordination, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
+ Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and promote physical development in pediatric patients.
+ Complete thorough, timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
+ Educate and empower parents and caregivers with strategies to support progress and carryover of therapy goals at home.
+ Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure each child is achieving meaningful outcomes.
+ Assess children in their natural environments—such as home, daycare, or school—and recommend modifications to enhance participation and independence.
+ Recommend, fit, and train families on the use of adaptive or assistive equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, braces) when appropriate.
+ Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, family-centered care.
+ Manage a pediatric caseload, maintaining open communication and trust with families.
+ Ensure accurate documentation and billing for all provided services.
_Qualifications:_
+ Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
+ One year’s experience preferred
+ TX licensure in physical therapy
+ Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
+ Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality in everything you do
