Pediatric Home Health | Now Hiring in Irving – Full-Time Caseload with Sign-On Bonus!

We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated **Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant** to join our home health team! In this role, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help children achieve developmental milestones, improve daily living skills, and gain confidence and independence in their routines.

What You’ll Do

+ Provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).

+ Carry out individualized treatment plans focused on promoting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

+ Monitor and document each child’s progress, maintaining accurate and timely daily notes and reports.

+ Support families by demonstrating activities and strategies to encourage progress at home.

+ Recommend adaptive equipment as directed and assist in caregiver training on proper use.

+ Communicate regularly with supervising OTs, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, family-centered care.

+ Help children apply therapy skills across natural environments, such as home, daycare, or school settings.

Qualifications

+ Associate Degree from an **accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program**

+ **Active Texas COTA license** required (or eligibility for licensure)

+ Pediatric experience preferred — **new graduates are encouraged to apply!**

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with children and families

+ Excellent organization, attention to detail, and commitment to quality care

+ Ability to meet physical demands of the position (e.g., lifting, positioning, and assisting pediatric patients as needed)
