Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist
Pediatric Home Health
As a **Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist** , you’ll work with children who have a wide range of communication, developmental, and medical needs. You’ll play a key role in helping each child strengthen their speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities—empowering them to reach their fullest potential.
Responsibilities include:
+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing, cognitive-communication, and social interaction skills.
+ Conduct comprehensive evaluations and maintain thorough documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge reports.
+ Collaborate closely with parents and caregivers, providing education and strategies to support ongoing progress at home and in daily routines.
+ Continuously monitor and adjust therapy plans to ensure each child achieves meaningful outcomes.
+ Assess children in their natural environments—such as home, school, or daycare—and recommend strategies to enhance communication and participation.
+ Recommend, introduce, and train families on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems or assistive technology as appropriate.
+ Partner with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, family-centered care.
+ Manage a pediatric caseload, maintaining strong communication with families and assisting with scheduling needs.
+ Complete accurate and timely billing and documentation aligned with provided services.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program required
+ Current **Texas Speech-Language Pathology license** (or eligibility for licensure) required
+ Pediatric experience preferred, but **new graduates are encouraged to apply**
+ A genuine passion for helping children and families reach their communication goals is essential
