    Job Description

    The Proposal Specialist will play a key role in supporting our technical sales and business development teams by coordinating internal resources to develop high-quality proposals for U.S.-based power transformer projects, including both products and services. This hybrid position involves close collaboration with factories, service teams, and sales groups to ensure timely and accurate proposal delivery. The specialist will manage approximately 10–20 proposals concurrently, guiding each through a structured bid process that typically spans six weeks from initiation to submission. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to streamline communication across multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines and maintain proposal excellence.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Working with the technical sales team/business developers to develop proposals

    • Internal facing rather than client facing -> coordinating with the factories, service team for oil, sales teams, etc…

    • Creating proposals for US Based power transformer projects

    • both product and services

    • Typically working on around 10-20 proposals at any given time

    • bid process is around 6 weeks from beginning to submittal stage, not including execution

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree

    • At least 3 years exp within proposal development

    • Former knowledge or experience within industry

    • Industry experience includes large or medium power transformers, smaller distribution transformers, substation projects, energy projects, utilities focused projects • Engineering degree, electrical or mechanical preferred

    • 5+ experience proposal development

    • Salesforce experience

    • Microsoft package (excel proficiency)
