The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for creating a safe, secure, and pleasant experience for Corporate Services employees, vendors, and guests. This position facilitates the flow of business by providing exemplary service through knowledge, awareness, voice communications, and personal interactions. Additionally, this role offers a warm welcome to community leaders, board members, and executives, requiring the highest level of tact and professionalism. In addition, this position performs administrative support and handles special projects. Additionally, this role is fully knowledgeable of all Campus Administration policies and safety procedures. This position contributes to the overall effectiveness of the Corporate Services department through diligent and precise work.
The value you'll bring to the team:
+ Monitors surroundings and responds appropriately to situations involving security, deliveries, protestors, or visitors.
+ Follows all safety and security procedures and maintains awareness of emergency protocols.
+ Manages inventory of security badges, tracks unreturned badges, and updates the security badge log.
+ Ensures team members properly utilize the Visitor Management system and assigns access badges per protocol.
+ Maintains organization and labeling of keys for Campus Administration and monitors building security cameras.
+ Operates access badge and security camera programs efficiently and records incident details during security events.
+ Understands and applies procedures for panic and lockdown alarms.
+ Handles campus-related responsibilities and projects with accuracy and timely communication.
+ Receives and escalates campus-related calls and issues and manages front desk operations across corporate locations.
+ Communicates weather alerts, security incidents, and emergency updates immediately.
+ Updates internal systems including Connect Site, Cisco Attendant Console, phone lists, and distribution lists.
+ Serves as concierge for staff and visitors, providing assistance and directing vendors professionally.
+ Communicates facilities needs through the Facilities Workorder system and supports corporate staff inquiries.
+ Answers phones and door call boxes promptly, operates automated attendant programs, and directs calls appropriately.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed** **:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ High School Graduate or Equivalent
+ 2 years as a receptionist /administrative support, or security/law enforcement experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
+ Associates Degree
