Work Hours/Shift:
+ Full Time - Days
You Will Be Responsible For:
+ Evaluates and negotiates contracts for purchase, amendments, and extensions of repair and maintenance services. Requests and analyzes service calls to determine the best option for service.
+ Oversees and reviews bids for time and material repairs to ensure conformity to requirements and determine acceptable bids.
+ Assists in the implementation and analysis of contracts, past repairs, trends and costs for estimated and realized savings.
+ Directs and evaluates the tracking of contracts to provide control of expenditures made for maintenance and services.
+ Advises departments regarding contractual rights, obligations and other contractual matters and issues.
+ Reviews contracts terms and conditions and works with the Legal Department to negotiate necessary changes. Communicates effectively with Vendor to modify terms and conditions.
Qualifications
What** **You Will Need:
+ At least one year of purchasing or contract experience.
+ Minimum 2 years of college (concentrating in business administration or related field), or 5 year healthcare purchasing experience. (Preferred)
+ Archibus (Preferred)
+ PDF Writer (Preferred)
+ Protek (Preferred)
+ ARC (Preferred)
+ MD Buyline (Preferred)
+ Knowledge of Contract Law (Preferred)
Job Summary:
Asset Management Contract Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and negotiating service contracts for clinical and non-clinical equipment. Oversees and maintains contract database on a daily basis to ensure contracts are managed effectively. Evaluates contract performance, performs cost analysis, reviews service history and communicates with departments to access their needs. Ensures that contract terms are fulfilled by performing an annual evaluation. Maintains high levels of accuracy for contract forecasting for budgeting purposes. Utilizes the MA/MM system to document/validate invoices per vendor terms. Interacts with customers in multiple locations and services their needs in a manner consistent with department goals and expectations.
