    The role you'll contribute:

    _2/28/22_

     

    Performs CT imaging procedures. Perform X-Ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed. Cross-train into MRI during downtime. Maintains records of examinations performed. Assists in Radiology Department as needed. Where appropriate by licensure and cross training, may function as a Radiology technologist. Responsibility to adhere to the AdventHealth-East Region Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

    Performs CT imaging procedures.

     

    Performs X-Ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed.

     

    Cross-train into MRI during downtime.

     

    Maintains records of examinations performed.

     

    Transports, lifts, moves and positions patients as needed to obtain images, transport patient to/from table or as otherwise needed for patient care.

     

    Moves and adjusts imaging equipment, including CT gantry and injector

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE REQUIRED:

    High school diploma or equivalent

     

    Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT

     

    CT registry may be used as experience.

     

    Must be a graduate of an approved A.R.R.T. program

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE PREFERRED:

    Associate or Bachelors degree in Radiology

    ARRT (CT)

    1 years of radiology experience and CT training
