    Description

    SAIC is seeking a, **Fully Remote, Enterprise Monitoring Network Administrator** to support the **U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS)** contract to monitor the enterprise network systems and log data.

     

    NOTE: This is a Fully Remote / Work from Home position.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    + Conduct monitoring, critical alert handling, incident resolution, ticket queue management, customer service actions, and other enterprise network operations activities in the USACE IT/G-6 environment, IAW DoD, Army, and USACE IT/G6 policies and procedures.

    + Install, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux servers on VM platforms.

    + Install, upgrade, maintain, and provide training/documentation for a suite of Monitoring Tools.

    + Interface with Customers from all levels of the organization and must demonstrate an understanding of how Enterprise Systems impact each Customer’s work to implement the Tools in a comprehensive, Customer-facing fashion.

    + Provide individual and group training on the tool set and will be able to write technical and policy documentation as needed for a team of network engineers and technicians supporting our customer, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Bachelor’s degree and two (2)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years or experience accepted in lieu of degree.

    + Experience maintaining server operating systems running on physical and VM platforms.

    + Experience installing, upgrading and maintain monitoring application software running on a variety of Operating Systems.

    + A solid understanding of WAN Concepts and Data Circuits (T1’s, MPLS, VPN and Enterprise VPN, SONET, Ethernet, Fiber, etc…).

    + Willingness to work on a rotating On Call Schedule.

    + Install, Upgrade, and Maintain Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux servers on VM platforms.

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

    + Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CySA+ CE, CASP+, etc.) to be considered for this position.

    REQUIRED CLEARANCES:

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; SAIC will help to obtain.

    + Must be a current US Citizen.

     

    Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
