YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The purpose of a Project Manager II is to effectively plan, execute, and oversee the completion of a project within the specified constraints of time, budget, and scope. Project managers are responsible for coordinating the efforts of team members, managing resources, and ensuring that the project meets its objectives and delivers the intended results. They play a crucial role in driving project success by facilitating communication, managing risks, and adapting to changes throughout the project lifecycle. The project manager's goal is to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

The role embraces Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) principles and practices and follows the VACC approach to leadership (being a visionary, architect, catalyst, and coach). The role actively evolves the operating model and fosters successful adoption of DSO.

The primary responsibilities of this role, Project Manager II, are to:

+ Lead an average of 15-25 projects across multiple categories in the range of $250K - $10MM across 5-10 source plants;

+ Each business classification has unique regulated requirements including Drugs, Natural Health Products and Medical devices;

+ Develop and execute strategic direction and insights through systems techniques and solutions; SYNAPS, DART, SAP, MS Project, includes preparation and ownership of SOPs to support GMP requirements and the appointment of key users and systems administrators;

+ Collaborate with Global Packaging, effectively manages current and future state artwork routing system and strategy that supports all stakeholder platforms; and process requests that balances global requirements with local business needs;

+ Function as part of the overall North America Project Management Capability Pool, work together with the NA and global colleagues to ensure business needs are addressed in the design and implementation of products, launches, and collaborative systems;

+ Manage local and global cross functional resources within the Project Management support context including local third parties and vendors;

+ Build strong and sustainable business relationships at various levels across divisions and functions, e.g., Brand, Integrated Planning, Procurement, and Quality Assurance;

+ Identifies root causes and corrective actions for project deviations, including facilitating problem resolution between initiators and implementation teams;

+ Responsible for the coordination and execution of packaging related licensing and trademark agreements partnering with Legal, Procurement, and others).

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

+ Multi-functional experience in Manufacturing, External Manufacturing, Production planning, Integrated Planning, Business Planning, Procurement, and/or Operational Excellence/LEAN;

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field;

+ Basic understanding of legal, regulatory and GMP requirements in an OTC drug and/or nutritional supplement environment, department governance, innovation and prioritization management experience, inventory bridge planning, and supply sourcing transfer;

+ Ability to use Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;

+ Demonstrated experience in team leadership/facilitation, decision making, process management, analytical skills, negotiating and conflict management skills, risk management, effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, and influencing/strategic planning;

+ Affinity for servant leadership, situational awareness, continual improvement, and transparency;

+ Leading with purpose, driving inclusion, respecting differences, and showing up as authentic best self.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ PMI, Prince2 certification, and/or Six Sigma black belt certification;

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in an OTC, nutritional supplement, or other consumer products environment;

+ Minimum of 2 years proven capability leading cross-functional project teams.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $118,757.26 to $178,135.88. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
