Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Tech to join our healthcare team in Mechanicsburg. In this role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support therapeutic treatments.

+ Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises

+ Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment

+ Apply hot and cold therapy treatments according to established protocols

+ Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions

+ Ensure cleanliness and organization of the therapy area

+ Set up and maintain therapy equipment and supplies

+ Schedule and coordinate patient appointments

+ Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

+ Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

+ Currently enrolled in a physical therapy or occupational therapy program (preferred)

+ Working toward obtaining a college degree

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

+ Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment

+ Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities

+ Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic records

+ Knowledge of therapy equipment and safety protocols

+ Genuine compassion for helping others

+ Ability to work flexible hours as needed

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in following treatment protocols

+ Professional demeanor and positive attitude
